Greyson's Story

14 is a Magic Number. At just 14-years old, Greyson Chance became a popular songwriter and a music sensation! Can you believe he has accomplished more than so many musicians can hope for in their entire lifetime? It's craziness. He has gone on two, successful North American tours, performed for Obama, and been on national TV. Right now, he is performing in Asia, exploring and singing his way across the the scenic continent. He Took a Chance. So how did he become a celebrity, a Talent Show or something? Okay, we know he is talented, but his story is simple: YouTube and his rad rendition of Lady Gaga's beloved song, Paparazzi! He was in the 6th grade when he first sang Paparazzi for his fellow classmates in Edmond, Oklahoma. Yee Haw. The world recognized his raw talent, reaching far beyond his age, when his first video was uploaded to YouTube. His Paparazzi video went on to become YouTube's #3 most popular video in 2010 with 45 MILLION views. He was on the wild road to fame, sharing his music with you.

Yep. He's an Actor Too. Can you imagine selling over 160 thousand candy bars? Greyson's debut single, "Waiting Outside the Lines", sold over 160 thousand copies to date. And...get this, it was even the number ONE single in the country for whole month straight. As if this isn't impressive enough, he played a role on the FOX TV show, Raising Hope. Did you catch him there? We heard he might take on another acting gig this year. Stay tuned!

The Rest is History. Greyson has toured with two of your favorites, Miranda Cosgove of iCarly and Big Time Rush! He has Ellen DeGeneres to thank, "Without Ellen, none of this would have happened. She's been so supportive of me and my music from the very beginning, and has also become an amazing friend!", says Greyson. The release of his debut Hold On 'Til The Night was recorded in L.A. with the famed producers who help to create Christina Aguilera, Avril Lavigne, Jason Mraz, Britney Spears, Enrique Iglesias, and Miranda Cosgrove's music!
